For this you will of course need a fast and reliable computer to do the work on. This is your number one priority as it will in effect be the tool of your trade.

Then you will need to work out how much money you need to make in order to be able to replace your normal income. Set this as a goal and what you must reach each month and you can then plan how much work you need to do to reach that target. This is really important and should be set right from the outset.

Lastly you need to work out whether working from home will actually suit you. Some people just get fed up with their jobs and want to do something else and think working from home would be great. But when they actually do it they get bored and find they cannot get enough work done. So you will need a lot of self discipline in order to work from home effectively.
