If you have ever looked into working from home before, you would have almost certainly seen advertisements for stuffing envelopes from home. These have been around for years and sadly the majority of them aren’t what they appear to be. Very few are genuine opportunities to earn by stuffing envelopes, they are more like pyramid schemes.
How they work is simple; at the very beginning they offer the benefit of working from home stuffing envelopes and to get more information they just send in $1. What happens then is they are given advice on placing these adverts themselves. So people send them $1 and in return get given advice on placing adverts themselves. So each person is going to be sent $1 for people wanting to know more but are only ever getting information on setting up this circle of adverts.
So there is never a real opportunity and no chance of learning to stuff envelopes at all. What happens is the main company is constantly sent leads that they use to sell other opportunities or to sell the actual list of addresses themselves. They advertise them as opportunity seekers and sell them to companies.
So not only do the unfortunate subscribers to these schemes never get the information they requested, they now get put on opportunity seekers mailing lists and start receiving all sorts of junk mail through the post. You need to be very careful what types of schemes you are applying for.
Fortunately there are legitimate work from home programs that you can find online. There are genuine paid survey companies that will pay you for your opinion and also other ways to make money via affiliate programs. So look into the legitimate ones first and leave the scams far behind you.
